Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees

At COCO Décor, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

Change of mind

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, including where:

  • you no longer want the item
  • you ordered the wrong product, colour, size, or variant
  • you found the item cheaper elsewhere
  • the item was purchased as a gift and the recipient does not want it
  • you simply decided the product is not suitable for your personal preference, despite it being in good working order and as described

Please choose carefully before placing your order.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, or significantly not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time after receiving it so we can assess the issue and provide a remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the nature of the problem, the available remedy may be:

  • repair
  • replacement
  • refund

Where the issue is a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where the issue is not a major failure, we may first offer a repair, replacement, or other appropriate remedy as permitted by law.

Assessment of returns

To help us assess a return request, we may ask for:

  • your order number or proof of purchase
  • a description of the problem
  • clear photos or videos showing the fault, damage, or issue
  • return of the item for inspection, where reasonably required

Refunds, replacements, or other remedies will not be issued until the item has been reviewed where inspection is necessary. However, nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Condition of returned items

If a return is approved, items must be returned in the condition reasonably requested by us for assessment. We ask that items be returned with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and any bonus items where possible.

Return shipping

If the item has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we will work with you on an appropriate return process. Where required by law, we will not make you pay return shipping costs for an item that is confirmed to have a consumer guarantee issue.

If a return request is not due to a consumer guarantee issue and we agree to accept it in our absolute discretion, any return postage, original shipping costs, handling costs, or restocking costs may be deducted where permitted by law.

Non-returnable items

For hygiene, health, and safety reasons, some items may not be suitable for return where opened, used, tried, or unsealed, unless they are faulty, damaged, or do not meet consumer guarantees.

How to request a return

Please email us at cocodecor.8@gmail.com with your order details and the reason for your request. We will review your request and provide instructions.

Important notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
